Online Puberty, Proactive Education 9-11 years 2023
Our Online Puberty Courses meet Australian Curriculum Objectives as outlined in the National, State and Scootle documents.
This Course is designed for ages 9-11 years. Each book speaks to the individual male or female reader at the appropriate age level.
The books are divided into two sections, the first section is the story book and the second section is for working in a school or group or with the family.
The Student Will Learn 9-11 Years:
1) How hormones work in their body.
2)How hormones work differently in the bodies of males and females.
3) How the body responds to different hormones and the body’s reaction, and
4) How the body grows and changes through puberty.
We encourage class interaction, for instance, in one area, we mention the word menopause, this happens because of hormone changes in the older female, we encourage discussion of the word by a teacher’s reply, ‘hormones change as women/females become older’.
The Books are about 80 pages of story book and workbook which introduces the young adult to the story of how either Rosie or Kian, together with their friends, explore, through story telling,
the journey their body’s hormones go through when they go into puberty.
Kian, is an orphan child from Iran and lives in Edinburgh with his adopted family, Kian and his brothers are keen football players and Rosie lives in Bologna, Italy. Rosie’s interest in how her body works is heightened when her friend’s fascination in biology becomes part of Rosie’s inquisitive mind to want to know more…
